Hardware & Software Support

SCP Computers will stop the problems before they stop your business.

Ongoing support of your IT systems is vital to business. However, many companies are not adequately covered in the event of a failure. Our approach is to prevent the problems before they occur. We offer three levels of hardware and software support depending upon your requirements and budget. This approach makes supporting your systems affordable.

  • Upgrading the software when new versions are made available.
  • Perhaps upgrading the hardware in order to run the updated software.
  • Updating your Anti-Virus software regularly.
  • Applying vendor supplied security fixes as they are released.
  • Checking your disaster recovery backups are up to date and running regularly.
  • Analysing your network for any problems.
  • Looking at your hard drive usage and trends.

 

On top of this you will get support with no call-out charges just in case things do go wrong.

 

Bronze

  • E-mail and phone support during normal office hours.
  • On site by arrangement during normal office hours.
  • Time on site rate - £45.00 per hour (minimum charge of 1 hour)
  • Documentation provided of any changes made to your system.
  • Agreement with you prior to making any changes to your systems
  • 1 month notice to be given to the termination of the agreement from both parties.
  • Mileage charge of -40p per mile for customers over 30 miles from Poole, Dorset.

Silver

  • E-mail and phone support during normal office hours.
  • On site within 24 hours of a call during normal office hours.
  • Time on site rate – £30 for first hour ( additional time is charged at £45.00 per hour)
  • Quarterly health check.
  • Documentation provided of any changes made to your system.
  • Agreement with you prior to making any changes to your system
  • 1 month notice to be given to the termination of the agreement from both parties.
  • Mileage charge of -40p per mile for customers over 30 miles from Poole, Dorset.

Gold

  • E-mail and phone support during normal office hours.
  • On site within 24 hours of a call during normal office hours.
  • No callout charges.
  • 1 hour a month on site support, any remaining time to be rolled over to the next month (to a maximum of 3 months). Additional time is charged at £45.00 per hour.
  • Quarterly health check.
  • Documentation provided of any changes made to your system.
  • Agreement with you prior to making any changes that will affect the way in which you and your staff work.
  • 1 month notice to be given to the termination of the agreement from both parties.
  • Mileage charge of -40p per mile for customers over 30 miles from Poole, Dorset.
